Could You Be Our Next
Bespoke Spoodles Guardian Family?
Bespoke Spoodles request the following requirements of their Guardian Families:
- Pet Experience: owning a dog previously would be advantageous, however not essential.
- Location: we would appreciate that the Guardian Family live within close proximity to our Reproductive Specialists at QVS Stafford, Brisbane.
- Safety: we prefer the Guardian Dog play in the yard of the Guardian Home, and have safe regular walks around the neighbourhood, rather than trips to the Dog Parks. This is primarily to assist in the prevention of unnecessary risks or accidents.
- Living Arrangements: the Guardian Dog must live indoors and have access to the outside yard at all times via a dog-door. We appreciate supervision of the Guardian Dog as much as possible.
- Nutrition: the Guardian Dog will be fed a super-premium food diet as requested by the Breeder. From time to time complimentary super-premium food will be gifted to the Guardian Family by the Breeder.
- Other Family Pets: absolutely no ‘entire’ dogs are to be kept in the same home as the Guardian Dog. Any other dogs will need to approved and gradually introduced to the Guardian Dog.
- Training: the Guardian Dog must complete basic ‘puppy school’, as well as a course of obedience training, ensuring they learn manners and basic commands such as sit, stay, come and down.
- Exercise: the Guardian Dog should receive regular daily exercise - this is a lovely bonding experience and is vital for the Guardian Dog’s well-being.
- Home Visits: the Guardian Family is to be happy to permit the Breeder to visit the home and Guardian Dog when required.
- Vet Care: the Guardian Family will provide the Breeder with all vet visit documentation and ensure the dog receives any necessary veterinary care without delay.
- Breeding Commitment: the Guardian Family must be happy to transport the Guardian Dog to the Breeder’s Specialist Vet for appointments relating to breeding. It is important for The Guardian Dog to feel safe, happy and comfortable at the Breeder’s home, and to ensure this is the case, the Guardian Dog will have daily visits to the Breeder’s home from time to time. The Guardian Dog will also reside with the Breeder from approximately day 60 of gestation, until puppies are weaned and ready to be separated.
- Communication: we ask that the Guardian Family keep up regular communication with the Breeder and respond promptly when contacted.
Please note that for the protection of the Guardian Family and Breeder, a purpose written Guardianship Contract will be drawn up for execution by both parties.
